WCIG Attends Official Launch of the BiGroup Initiative

20 Sep 2017 - WCIG was thrilled to be part of the official launch of the BiGroup initiative
WCIG was thrilled to be invited to official launch of the BiGroup initiative on 17 August 2017 by The Hon Tim Pallas at The Refectory in Werribee Park. It was great to see the Mayor of Wyndham, Councillor Henry Barlow, CEO of Wyndham City, Kelly Grigsby and the CEO of Hobsons Bay City, Chris Eddy all in attendance of this landmark event.

Established by the WynBay Local Learning and Employment Network (WynBay LLEN), the Business Industry Group (BiGroup) is a not-for-profit network which "offers opportunities for businesses and industries with a commitment to achieving skills development, education and community outcomes".

The BiGroup is a proactive response by multiple organisations, supported by the State Government, for a more collaborative approach to state-based infrasctructure projects and other opportunities.

The BiGroup's focus is to create a capability and service network in Melbourne’s west, by bringing together business leaders to enhance their commitment to achieving skills development, education and community outcomes.
