Traineeships
Traineeships are about gaining an industry linked qualification while employed within the industry.  As a registered training organisation (TOID4185), WCIG provides quality training and assessment services throughout the traineeship and at completion, issues a nationally accredited qualification.  WCIG offer the following accredited and nationally recognised qualifications under the Traineeship program:

BSB20101     Certificate II in Business

BSB30101     Certificate III in Business or Business Administration

ICA20105      Certificate II in Information Technology

TTH33002     Certificate III in Hospitality

TTH32902     Certificate III in Hospitality – Catering Operations

CHC30502    Certificate III in Employment Services

PRM30104    Certificate III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning)

CHC30102    Certificate III in Aged Care Work

WRR30202   Certificate III in Retail Operations

Qualifications we deliver as part of the Traineeship program are based on an ‘on the job’ workplace delivery strategy, where the Trainee would be learning her/his skills on the job. (No classroom based training).

This involves the trainee withdrawing from their routine duties for a minimum of three hrs per week for planned training, averaged over a four week cycle, to complete schoolwork or practise certain skills for their qualification.

The workplace delivery would be organised in conjunction with your workplace supervisor and Trainer through a detailed training plan.  Our Trainer would regularly visit the workplace (once every 4-6 wks) to monitor the progress of the trainee, to consult with the workplace supervisor, to train and to guide the Trainee through the units of competency.
