To celebrate Mental Health Week October 10-16, WCIG is pleased to be sponsoring mental health advocate, Ingi Barr, as she takes to schools in the west to tackle the stigma surrounding mental illness. Celebrating 25 years in 2011, WCIG hosted the first of its anniversary celebrations to mark this significant milestone with a staff dinner at the Royal Melbourne Zoo on Thursday 16 June. For the 80 staff that made their way through the zoo grounds at night aided by a guide and not much more than a flashlight, arriving at the function centre was quite the obstacle course. WCIG staff get behind Footy Colours Day to raise funds for kids with cancer

On Friday 2 September footy fever reached new heights at WCIG as staff from each of our eight offices donned their favourite footy colours to raise much needed funds for cancer research. Footy Colours Day, which is held on the first Friday in September each year, is the Fight Cancer Foundation’s national fundraising event.
