19 Dec 2011 - As the year draws to a close it is encouraging to reflect on our many accomplishments and how far the organisation has evolved since its inception back in 1986.

2011 has been an extraordinary year for WCIG. It was with a great sense of excitement that we launched LoveLuvo in August and established the WCIG Social Enterprise Group. We celebrated our 25th Anniversary with a special stakeholder event with the presentation of the Annual Board Scholarships.

15 Dec 2011 - On Sunday 4th December 2011 at Logan Reserve in Altona, our very own WCIG clients Scott Dawson and Kevin Affleck were awarded at the NDCO Western Metropolitan Region Excellence Award under the employment category as the winner and runner up respectively.

This all took place at ‘A Celebration for International Day of People with Disability’. Scott and Kevin were nominated by their WCIG employment consultants, Ashleigh Daniel and Brooke Pretty.
