Westgate Community Initiatives Group (WCIG) is a community-based provider of employment services and vocational training in the western suburbs of Melbourne. WCIG is committed to affirming the dignity of all people and the right of every individual to a meaningful role in society.

For over 20 years WCIG has been able to access State and Federal Government funding to develop continually improving, high quality service delivery models that provide benefints to individuals and local communities throughout the Western suburbs.

What would be the benefit of becoming a member of WCIG?

By becoming a member of WCIG you are showing your support for all unemployed people in the Western suburbs.  Without members the organisation cannot function or continue the essential work of assisting people in their quest to find meaningful employment.

WCIG  has actively been breaking down the barriers which keep the disadvantaged held down. We would like you to be part of our future direction in providing sustainable employment solutions.

If you share our values and want to support the work of WCIG then join up for only $5.50 (plus $1.10 joining fee).  You will receive an annual report and also be invited to the Annual General Meeting to hear how our work has been progressing.

Each year members vote for our WCIG Committee members who are then entrusted with the role of ensuring that WCIG is being propreley managed and that our mission is being fulfilled.
