Accessibility
The website was built with accessibility in mind in that, the w3's WAI guidelines were followed during the planning and development phases. As it stands, the website fulfills almost all of level 1 and the majority of level 2 WAI standards.
Such standards have enforced ALT tags on images, so ensure that screen readers of the visually impaired can be informative. Another example would be the non use of flashy java menu's such that the mobility impaired can still access any part of the website with only a keyboard or any other assisting devices.
The ability to control the text size of the content in the website through browser settings. This will allow for comfort for those who use high resolution monitors or for visually impaired members of the public to be able to efficiently use the website.
As with all HTML websites, the standard W3C xhtml 1.0 standards should be met to maximize compatibility and minimize coded error. All pages of the WCIG website fulfill this feature.
Lastly, the website has been tested with and without the Cascading Style Sheets and is still functional without the presence of the CSS. Furthermore testing has been done to ensure compatibility with Internet Explorer v5+ as well as Mozilla firefox.
